FSP respects the privacy of its members and other visitors to its website. FSP strongly believes that electronic commerce and online activities will flourish only if consumers are assured that information provided online is used responsibly and appropriately. Information collected by FSP is used primarily to help FSP better serve its members. FSP is the sole owner of the information collected on our site. It is our general policy to collect and store only information that is knowingly provided by our members and other visitors to our website. General Users. FSP does not collect any personal information from visitors browsing its website. Users of the public areas of FSP's website browse anonymously. Only aggregate data -- such as the number of hits per page -- is collected. This data is used only for internal and marketing purposes and does not provide any personal identifying information.
Information from Members, Conference Registrants, and Other Customers. To gain access to members-only resources and personalization features on the FSP website, members and other users are asked to register and provide certain limited information. This information is submitted voluntarily. FSP asks users to provide their name, member number (for members), organization name, business phone, and e-mail. Similar information may be submitted to FSP through membership applications, conference or seminar registration, publication orders, subscriptions, and contest registrations.

FSP uses data collected to improve website content, to respond to users' interests, needs and preferences, and to develop new products and services.

If you participate in FSP's Consumer Referral Service, we make the member contact information you provided to us available to consumers who are seeking competent professional advice and service. On a limited basis, FSP may make member contact information available to third parties that offer products and services that we believe are of value to our members. This data may include names, job titles, companies, business addresses, and/or e-mail addresses, and is provided on a limited-use basis only. FSP may share general demographic information with our partners, sponsors, and advertisers.
Personal identifiable information, such as your Social Security number, home contact (unless this is listed as your primary address) and credit card information is never shared with third parties.
Users may request FSP to refrain from disclosing the data it collects to third parties on the membership application form, conference registration form or any other form on which they are providing information. An opt-out box will appear on each form on which a user provides information. Alternatively, users may contact FSP at Info@societyoffsp.org or 800-392-6900 to express their preferences if they determine later that they do not wish to have the information shared.

FSP takes every reasonable precaution to protect the information of our members, visitors, and customers. When sensitive information is submitted via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line to the best of FSP's ability.

RSS is a free service offered by FSP for non-commercial use. Any other uses, including without limitation the incorporation of advertising into or the placement of advertising associated with or targeted towards the RSS Content, are strictly prohibited.
