Company Competition Details:
What: SuitUp Business Competition

When: April 22nd from 10 AM–2 PM (Please arrive by 9:45 AM for volunteer debrief)

Where: Teach for America Office (25 Broadway 12th floor, New York, NY 10004)

Who: ~40 students (14 and up) from a Title I school, 20-25 volunteers from FSP

How Does It Work: Volunteers will be assigned teams of 8-10 students each, and tasked with solving a corporate challenge for FSP. With the help of SuitUp, you'll coach students through their business case competition, and help your students present their new ideas to a panel of judges at the end of the day. The winning team will receive a prize (Amazon gift cards). Here’s a video explaining how it works.

There is no need to bring anything except a friendly attitude, a competitive spirit, business cards (if you want to give out to your team!) and perhaps a water bottle if you get thirsty! We will bring all the materials, provide lunch, and facilitate the event!

We NEED to get sponsorship from carriers for this event ($2500 total)

Senior Leadership: In addition to inviting volunteers, invite senior leadership from your network to be judges and join us for the last hour of the competition (1PM-2PM)

Press Release: Here is a link to an article about David Soloman as a judge at the SuitUp competition with Goldman Sachs.
