The Financial Aid Processes and 529 Plans: “The advantages of 529 plans in the college savings process.”

This 2 hour seminar opportunity focuses on 529 Plans, and the financial aid processes.

Speakers ICAN and VOYA will present detailed information about 529 plans and their tax advantages along with the FAFSA loan processes. This long-term planning seminar focusing on college savings will also address taxes and estate planning issues.

Attendees will be provided information on the following topics:

  • Financial aid process timeline
  • How to talk to your clients about the process
  • Outlining the benefits of utilizing 529’s vs. other savings vehicles
  • Financial planning issues of college
  • Main concerns of 529 Plans

This seminar will count for 2 CE hours for insurance professionals, CFPs, and attorneys.

Registration is free for Eastern Iowa FSP members. For non-Members the fee is $50.00 due on or before September 19,2019. Please register by September 16, 2019, however same day registration is available.
