In this session the updated FSP members-only discounted long-term care insurance (LTCI) program from Mutual of Omaha will be rolled out, with Bob Vandy (former Chapter President for the Eastern NY Chapter and President of Advisors Insurance Brokers) leading the discussion. Advisors acknowledge that LTC planning continues to be vitally important for their clients. However, they sometimes forget about THEIR OWN planning (remember the parable of the cobbler’s children’s shoes?) when it comes to the potential for an extended or chronic care situation. This program poses important questions to advisors: How about you? Is your “LTC house” in order? Might LTC Insurance be one of the components of (or a foundation to) that plan?
Attendees will learn about:
- The current state of LTC planning, and various LTC Insurance options
- How standalone LTCI is actually a more cost effective – and stable - option than ever before
- How the new FSP program works, and some differences from the previous program
- The support available to help participating members learn additional detail, and to enroll in the program
- How to be compensated for their own FSP discounted LTCI purchase
This is a free webinar for both FSP members and non-members who want to find out more about the plan. You must be a current FSP member to enroll in the plan.
