This webinar will focus on the many uses of life insurance in charitable and estate planning. Emphasis will be placed on gifting life insurance to charitable organizations and the use of life insurance in charitable trusts. Additionally, we will examine the use of life insurance in estate planning, including business succession plans such as buy-sell agreements. We will also cover the planning considerations of using life insurance in an estate plan.
Attendees will learn:
- How to use charitable remainder trusts to provide a noncharitable beneficiary an interest during their lifetime
- Gifting life insurance using an absolute assignment of the beneficiary or irrevocable transfers of ownership
- Methods of funding life insurance in buy-sell agreements
